To help us get to know Dustin a little better, the MSPM Program sat down with him . . .
Welcome to the GW MSPM program, Dustin.
Thank you. I am very excited to work closely with such a great administration, faculty, and especially the MSPM students. GW’s MSPM students are some of the most passionate, diverse, and interesting students at GW. I have actually been working with the program since 2008 as the Senior Secretary for the Department of Decision Sciences here at the Business School. I have grown very familiar with the program over the last 2 years and I am eager to focus on making the experience at GW as rewarding as it can be for the MSPM students.
What brought you to GW?
With an eye towards working in higher education, I began working at GW at the end of May in 2008 with the Department of Decision Sciences in the Business School. Because the MSPM program is part of the Decision Sciences Department, I have worked closely with the program for the last 2 years. Before coming to GW, I was the Executive Administrative Assistant for the Division on Engineering and Physical Science at the National Academies here in Washington, DC. I very much enjoyed working with many respected experts in the fields of engineering and physics, but a desire to work in higher education and to continue my own education directed me towards GW.
