Dr. Denis Cioffi Reappointed as Chair of GW’s Research and Instructional Technology Committee

At the end of his two-year term, Decision Science Associate Professor Denis F. Cioffi has been asked to continue as chair of the university’s Research and Instructional Technology Committee.  This request, which Dr. Cioffi has accepted, comes from GW’s new Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, Dr. Stephen C. Ehrmann. RITC’s website, at http://acadtech.gwu.edu/pages/ritc, describes  (in language now made old by the Provost’s restructuring that led to Dr. Ehrmann’s appointment)  the role of the committee. “Continual interaction with instructional technology experts from across the university helps the Program maintain its leadership in the use of state-of-the-art technology for both distance and campus students,” said Dr. Cioffi.
