The attached describes a project management opening in Washington, DC, reporting to Jim Thie, Chief Information Officer at American Lung Association.
Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Ten years of business analysis experience – LEAN/Six Sigma preferred.
  • Eight years of project management experience – PMI certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large project team
  • o   Multi-year, multi-million dollar scope
    o   Internal and external project participants, inclusive of multiple vendors
    o   Understands strategic vision and delivers solutions against that vision

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and strong customer service skills.
  • Manage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced highly technical environment.
  • For profit and non-profit experience.
  • Lead efforts for a wide range of systems experience such as CRM, donor management, web, financial, and learning management systems.
  • Possess decision-making skills.
