Interested in studying abroad during the winter 2014 break? The GW School of Business is offering several courses, one of which may be of particular interest to MSPM students. Professor Lisa Delpy Neirotti is leading a group to Sochi, Russia, host of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, February 7-17, 2014. The course will also include 3 on campus sessions in December and January. TSTD 6282 Russia: Behind the Scenes at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games will study how such a major event is organized. As you all are aware, project management is essential to such an event.
The study abroad programs offer a unique opportunity to complete the general elective requirements for the MSPM program. Short-term study abroad program coursesmust be approved by the MSPM director prior to enrollment. Schedule an advisement session with me to discuss in further detail. October 4 is the deadline to apply for the program. The Global & Experiential Education office is also available to answer questions as the program is administered through their office. Feel free to contact them at 202-994-1212 or email@example.com.
