EY Performance Improvement – Program Management Overview & Case Study Workshop

This event is for GW students in the Master of Science in Project Management or MBAs concentrating in Project Management. The session and the corresponding job positions are open to both those legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and those requiring employer sponsorship to work in the U.S.

During this session, the EY team will provide an overview of the firm’s Performance Improvement – Program Management practice area as well as a workshop on “how-to” respond to a consulting case interview.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for Q&A and networking with the EY personnel. The team will be collecting resumes through GWork and in-person at the event.

Free Access to Microsoft Office Professional Plus 365
The GW Division of IT announced in July that Microsoft Office Professional Plus 365 is available at no cost to all current students. You are able to install full versions of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) on up to 5 PCs or Macs and up to 5 mobile devices. Log in to https://portal.office.com using your full GW email address (NetID@gwu.edu) and corresponding GW NetID password.

WebEx Now Available to GW Students
The GW DIT also announced in July that WebEx is now available to all GW students. The collaborative meeting tool allows for real-time video meetings and sharing of computer content over the web. Students can host WebEx meetings for free using a computer for up to 8 attendees. To begin using, login to gwstudent.webex.com with your GW NetID and corresponding password. Blackboard is not the site you should use to confirm this information. Most professors will not make the courses available on Blackboard until the first week of the semester, which begins August 31.

GW New Venture Competition, Kickoff Meeting 10 Sep
Participate in the fifth largest collegiate business plan competition in the country. The competition provides a real-world, experiential learning opportunity in entrepreneurship. Winners of the competition can actually launch and operate their ventures while maintaining complete control of their business through the issuance of non-dilutive cash grants.
