1-    Spring 2017 Blackboard Collaborate Session Schedule now available on the blog. The Collaborate Sessions provide a weekly one-hour live interface with your professor during the semester. It is open to both distance and online sections of each course. Students are highly encourage to utilize the Collaborate Sessions for asking follow-up questions about lectures or case studies discussed in class. Confirm with each professor when the first session will occur.  

2-    As posted on the blog last month, those in the distance section of Spring 2017 DNSC 6269 Capstone course, are required to participate in the residency week to complete the course requirements with Dr. Khamooshi. Residency week will begin on Monday, 15 May through Friday, 19 May 2017. The class will meet each day for a full day beginning 8am in the School of Business (2201 G St, NW). Students registered for the campus section of the Capstone are not required to attend the residency week.  

3-    The Program Management Improvement and Accountability Act (PMIAA) was passed 30 November by the U.S. Senate. The bill will now go to President Barack Obama for signature and enactment. This legislation will make improvements to program and project management policy across the U.S. government. It is a landmark achievement for our profession. Read more.
