1- Your academic advisor. Reminder, your academic advisor is your go to person for any academic or program issues. While your advisor has a significant role in your education at GW, students have an equally significant role. Advising is a two-way street, students must be proactive in bringing forward any issues. Do not hesitate to schedule an advisement session with your advisor, Agnes Socrates via for any specific issues you may be experiencing.

2- Registration for Summer 2017 began on 1 March! Register now before courses close. Continuing students with no holds on their record may register for classes on GWeb. Contact student accounts (202-994-7350 or if you have a hold on your record. Please note, only elective courses are offered during summer semester.

Not sure what to sign up for? Schedule an advisement with your advisor via and include your GWid. Elective requirements for MSPM include:

  • Three credits of electives must be taken within the Decision Sciences (DNSC) Department
  • Three remaining credits may be fulfilled by taking a 6000+ level course within or outside of the School of Business following approval of academic advisor.
  • Elective courses must be taken for a letter grade

3- Thank you to those who attended the GW University PM Talks on 1 March at the Marvin Center. Event was well-attended by at least fifty project management professionals and students. Attendees earned 2 Professional Development Units (PDUs) through the Project Management Institute (PMI).  Guest speakers include MSPM alumna, Natalya Bah.
