The George Washington University Project Management Association (GWPMA) is seeking nominations from MSPM students to serve on the Board of Directors for at least a one-year term. The GWPMA is a student organization with a mission to promote the project management discipline, the MSPM program, and its students while providing professional development and networking activities. The following positions are available on the Board of Directors for the 2018 Academic Year.
President – The role of the president is to lead the GW PMA board of directors and execute the GW PMA strategic plan
Vice-President, Strategic Relations – The role of the Vice President, Strategic Relationships is to develop and maintain the GW PMA professional relationships and advise the group on professional networking opportunities
Chief Budget Officer – The role of the Chief Budget Officer is to maintain GW PMA financial records and advise the group on funds balance.
International Student Representative – to develop opportunities, engagement, and networking for distance students who are outside of US:

You may nominate yourself or be nominated by another MSPM student or faculty. Please provide a brief statement of interest including (1) why you would like to be elected to the Board; (2) a little about yourself; (3) anticipated graduation date; and (4) primary and secondary board positions of interest. Nominations should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The candidate must:
- Be a current MSPM student
- Be able to serve a one-year term on the GWPMA Board of Directors
The GWPMA Board of Directors will finalize board Elections on October 23, 2017.
Nominations must be received before 5:00 PM ET on October 20, 2017
