PMI Educational Foundation – the philanthropic arm of PMI whose is to inspire and empower people to realize their potential and transform their lives and their communities through the use of project management knowledge – has scholarship opportunities that may offer financial assistance to students attending as well as professionals employed by The George Washington University.
PMIEF academic scholarships provide financial assistance for degree-seeking students studying project management at accredited academic institutions.
PMIEF professional development scholarships help project managers, nonprofit staff, school administrators and teachers fund project management training. These scholarships fund standalone courses, not degree programs.
In addition to the scholarships, PMIEF also has an award opportunity that could be of interest to students studying PM at The George Washington University called the James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award. The James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award recognizes excellence in student development of original concepts in project management. Papers are selected based upon the research and creative effort that are best directed toward advancing the concepts, tools and techniques of managing project-oriented tasks.
