INDUSTRY ROUNDTABLES

Join us Friday, February 7 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the City View Room of the Elliott School of International Affairs to network and engage in roundtable discussion with prominet alumni and industry leaders from companies that have been historically most attractive to our students.

About the Round table Series
Round tables hosted by the GW School of Business are designed to provide students the chance to go deeper in discussion with alumni, members of the board of advisers, employers, and industry leaders beyond a simple networking/meet-and-greet event. It is a chance for both discussion leaders and students to learn about each other outside a classroom setting. We’ve seen several students obtain internships and jobs from discussion leaders at these events. Many have continued mentoring conversations long after the event is over.

The events consist of one hour of a happy hour-like informal networking reception, one hour of round table discussion, and one hour of plenary debrief and final networking. The attire for this event is full-business-dress. In the week leading up to the event, registered students are given discussion questions and are assigned to a particular discussion leader. Students are asked to research and reflect on the questions before the event and bring talking points to the event itself.
