1- Academic Advising. Agnes Socrates has been serving as Interim Administrative Director for Master of Accountancy program along with three other Program Managers since June 2018 and will be doing so through December 2018. While she’s fulfilling her duties between two programs, students are encouraged to plan ahead. For any anticipated needs, please schedule an advisement appointment with her via


2- Fall 2018 registration. The last day to add a course via GWeb is on Sunday, 9 September at 10pm. Last day to drop a course via GWeb is Sunday, 23 September at 10pm. Dropping from courses after the first day of the semester will incur charges on your student account. Students must review withdrawals and refund information via the registrar’s website prior to dropping courses. Policy Exception may be allowed for any extenuating circumstances justifying the need to drop from a course. Review process via this link. Consult your academic advisor if needed.


3- Free Registrations to 2018 PM Symposium. We are pleased to offer two free registrations to the PM Symposium hosted by the PMI Washington DC Chapter (regularly $260). Current students are eligible to take advantage of this opportunity. The PM Symposium provides a forum focused on developing project managers of all skill levels through professional development opportunities (7 PDUs will be available throughout the day). The symposium is also an opportunity for companies to meet project managers seeking career transition and matching interests, skills, and experience to their needs. If interested email with your name, GWID and a two-paragraph essay for why you should receive free registration no later than 12 September.
