Welcome to the Spring 2014 Class
Summer 2014 Short-term Study Abroad Options
PMIWDC Washington Circle Luncheon, 22 Jan

Dear MSPM Students,

I am excited to welcome everyone back to school this week. I encourage everyone to reacquaint themselves with their classmates, professors, and the academic technology for the program. A plethora of resources and information are available to you at my.gwu.edu, the Office of the Registrar website, and www.gwprojectmanagement.org.

The top 3 items you need to know this week:

Welcome to the Spring 2014 Class

Please join me in welcoming the spring 2014 incoming class of MSPM students. The diverse class of students hail from across the globe, including Azerbaijan, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia. The domestic students hail from DC to Los Angeles. The bio book for the new class will be posted shortly onto www.gwprojectmanagement.org.

All new spring 2014 students now have access to DreamSpark to download Microsoft software, excluding Office. Read the instructions on registering with DreamSpark and downloading the software prior to contacting the MSPM office with questions. When registering on the DreamSpark site, be sure to use your @gwmail.gwu.edu email address.

Information on downloading VM Fusion is also available on www.gwprojectmanagement.org, see the Resources tab.

Summer 2014 Short-term Study Abroad Options

We are excited to see four MSPM enrolled in the TSTD 6282 Russia: Behind the Scenes at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games program. Are you interested in taking advantage of a similar short-term study abroad program in the summer 2014 term? Review the list of available programs through the GWSB Global & Experiential Education office’s website and pay special attention to the application deadlines. Some program deadlines are today, 15 Jan.

Remember, short-term study abroad program courses must be approved by the MSPM director prior to enrollment. Schedule an advisement session with me to discuss the application of a study-abroad program for fulfillment of your elective requirements.
