1- Capstone Residency Week. The Fall 2017 Capstone Residency Week begins Monday, 11 December and will run through Wednesday, 13 December. All students enrolled in the distance section of the DNSC 6269 Project Management Application (Capstone) are required to participate and present their final projects. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Professor Kwak who will facilitate this semester’s Capstone Residency Week.
2- Volunteers Needed. The MSPM program needs volunteers for the Spring 2018 Orientation for incoming students on 12 January. Volunteers will facilitate the Students and Alumni panel, and will assist with the Bridge Game. Time commitment is 4 hours. As posted last week, the application deadline for EDF Climate Corps Fellows is today, 5 December. Fellows work on innovative projects such as: scaling energy efficiency, setting sustainability goals, accelerating renewable energy, evaluating supply chain sustainability and more. Port Authority of NY & NJ – Leadership Fellows Program – Deadline: 8 December This is a full time two-year rotational program that offers on-the-job experience in approximately four different business functions ranging from finance and planning to operations and human resources. James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award– Deadline: 15 Feb 2018. The PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) has an award opportunity called the James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award. This award recognizes excellence in student development of original concepts in project management. Papers are selected based upon the research and creative effort that are best directed toward advancing the concepts, tools and techniques of managing project-oriented tasks.
