RRMC Seeking a Project Manager (Washington, DC)

The Research & Regulatory Management Council (RRMC) designs and develops required health and safety data for raw chemical manufacturers and companies that market end-use products. RRMC is a Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) affiliate program headquartered in Washington, DC.

RRMC is seeking a Project Manager to provide comprehensive project management by planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished for multiple joint venture and task force programs. Sunday, 14 Dec, is the deadline to apply for scholarship funding in the spring 2015 semester. We will award two scholarships, each in the amount of $3,750. Full details on the scholarships and the application process and requirements are available on the blog.

Graduate Aide Position, Office of Graduate Assistantships and Fellowships
The Office of Graduate Assistantships and Fellowships is actively seeking a full-time MSPM student to serve as a graduate aide beginning in January. Full details on the position are available on the blog. Position requires 20 hours per week, knowledge of MS Access, and includes an hourly wage and tuition benefits. Graduate Aide Position, GW Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships

One position is expected to start mid – January 2015, and may start earlier. The position requires 20 hours per week.

Strong knowledge of databases and MS Access is required.
Student should address proficiency and relevant experience of databases / MS Access within cover letter.

Desired characteristics include:

    ● Self-direction
    ● Dependability
    ● Well-developed organizational skills
    ● Proven ability to stay on task and meet deadlines

To be eligible for the graduate aide position, the applicant must be enrolled full-time in a Foggy Bottom graduate degree program. Preference will be given to applicants who are new graduate students and have previous university employment experience in the area of student services.

A minimum of 20 hours per week during the upcoming summer session is a requirement of the position.


The Graduate Aide position includes:

  • Hourly wage of $15 per hour
    ● Tuition award of 9 credit hours per semester
  • Stipend of $850 per month

Survey Administrator, IMPACT (Washington, DC)

The Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT) is searching for a graduate student to perform survey administration, data collection, and analysis services. Individual will work 10-20 hours per week with an hourly wage rate of $15-20 per hour depending on qualifications. Need-Based Scholarship Deadline, 24 Jul

Thursday, 24 Jul, is the deadline to apply for the need-based scholarships available for the fall 2014 semester. Details on the criteria and application process are available on the blog at www.gwprojectmanagement.org.

Essays received with spelling errors, poor grammar, or formatting issues receive less consideration than those that exhibit graduate-level writing. Take full advantage of the GW resources that your tuition payments fund, such as the GW Writing Center or the English for Academic Purposes Program.

Graduate Fellow Position, GW Military and Veteran Career Services

The Interdisciplinary Career Services Initiatives office within the GW Center for Career Services is looking to fill their Graduate Fellow for Interdisciplinary Initiatives position for the 2014-2015 academic year. The fellow will participate as a member of the team charged with advancing career services and resources for military-related students including current service, veterans and military families.

Fellow is paid an hourly rate and is expected to work 20-25 hours per week. Must be a current GW graduate student that is either a veteran, active duty service member, or dependent to fill the position. Job Summary:  The Senior Associate, Technology is a member of the project team who takes responsibility for implementing parts of the system architecture using best practices.  This will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system.  The candidate will also be expected to provide technical leadership and architectural support.
