MSPM Students Study Abroad in Summer 2015
Several MSPM students are using their elective credits to study abroad this summer. Four students just returned from Cork, Ireland where they studied international and multicultural issues in organizations. Another student is learning about the globalization of American sports, entertainment, and business in China.

Interested in pursuing a short-term study abroad course as your elective? Schedule an advisement session with me to discuss how this could fit in your MSPM program. Contact the Global & Experiential Education team to learn about the course offerings, schedule, and travel details.

All students should consult their plan in DegreeMAP or schedule an advisement session with the program director to confirm summer registrations. Changes and Updates to Blackboard and Lecture Capture in Spring 2014

Students will experience several changes to the technology utilized in the MSPM program.

1. An additional login is required to watch the lecture capture. In Blackboard, you’ll select the link to watch the recorded lecture. Prior to viewing the recording, the Echo 360 site will ask that you enter a username and password. Enter your NetID and the same password used to log in to your email and on to Blackboard. Your NetID is the text to the left of the @ sign in your email. For example, if your email is mspmstudent@gwmail.gwu.edu, you NetID is mspmstudent.

2. A new version of Blackboard was released over the winter break. Take some time over the weekend to navigate through the updated version to discover new features and system improvements.

3. The use of iTunes U for course lectures and recordings was discontinued December 26, 2013. Beginning in the 2014 spring semester, ColonialCast Lecture Capture will be solely powered by the Echo360 service. With this service change, all future lecture capture content will be stored and delivered through the Echo360 platform.
