Congrats to John Turner, Bishop/Kloch Memorial Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to MSPM student John Turner on receiving the Bishop/Kloch Memorial Scholarship in 2013. The $2,500 scholarship is provided through the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation in honor of Bob Bishop and Joyce Kloch, both founding members of the PMI Baltimore Chapter. The scholarship is designed to support the PMI Baltimore Chapter membership’s dedication to the field of project management. Well done John!

Student Association Senate Applications, 23 Oct

Get involved with student advocacy and apply for one of the open seats on the Student Association Senate. Applications are due by October 23, 2013. Contact SA Senate Leadership Committee Chair Daniel Egel-Weiss at danielew@gwu.edu for more information or to address any questions.

Last Day to Withdraw, 18 Oct

Friday, October 18 is the last day to withdraw from a course with a grade of “W” using a Registration Transaction Form with the Dean’s permission. Given that we are now past the fourth week of classes, no refunds will be issued for courses you withdraw from. Should you need to withdraw from a course, please schedule an advisement session with me via www.meetme.so/gwmspm to discuss the impact on your degree plan.

Student Association Senate Applications Due Oct 23, 2013

Are you looking to get involved with student advocacy? The Student Association Senate currently has open Senate seats for graduate students in the following schools: the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Medicine and Health Services, and the Graduate School of Education and Human Development. There are also two non-voting Senate seats open to all first-year graduate students.

If interested, please fill out the attached application and return it to the Student Association office, Marvin Center 427 by October 23.
