Study Abroad Fair is tomorrow September 7, 2016

Trying to decide which study abroad program is best for you? Come to study abroad fair,  meet with over 35 of GWU international partners. The Office for Study Abroad hosts Study Abroad Fair tomorrow, Wednesday 7 September from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Marvin Center Grand Ballroom.

The Office for Study Abroad will be providing helpful information on how to finance study abroad, how to connect your international experience to your professional plans, and how to join the Focus on Fall living learning community. Summer 2016 STAP Application Deadline on 28 Feb
Sunday, 28 Feb, is the deadline to apply for one of the summer 2016 Short-Term Study Away Programs (STAP). Remember, the course must first be approved by your advisor, Cambria Happ. To learn more about the STAP programs, contact Lisa Brancheau, G&EE Assistant Director, at sbintl@gwu.edu.

Student Responsibilities: Holds
Students are responsible for reviewing their record in GWeb to ensure they do not have any holds on their record that will prevent registration. Holds can prevent you from registering, adding or dropping classes, receiving transcripts, obtaining grades, or graduating. Holds are placed on student accounts for various reasons, such as money due to GW, the need to meet with your advisor, placement on probation, or unmet immunization requirements. Summer 2016 Short-Term Study Away Programs, 28 Feb Application Deadline
Interested in earning general elective credits in Brazil, California, or Sweden this summer? Apply for one of the summer 2016 Short-Term Study Away Programs (STAP) by 28 Feb. Audition to Speak or Sing at the GWSB Commencement Celebration, Apply by 26 Feb
Students eligible to participate in the May 2016 commencement are invited to audition to either speak or sing at the GWSB Commencement Celebration. Email gradspkr@gwu.edu by 26 Feb to sign up for an audition time. Please be prepared to deliver a 3-5 minute commencement speech or to sing the National Anthem and Alma Mater.

Spring 2016 Schedule of Classes Available
The spring 2016 schedule of classes is now available. Review the schedule and confirm your courses for spring 2016 using your plan in DegreeMAP. Questions? Schedule an advisement session with Cambria Happ via www.meetme.so/gwmspm. Registration begins Monday, 9 Nov, via GWeb.
Registration in DNSC 6269 Project Management Application (capstone) is not available via GWeb. To register, complete and submit a Registration Transaction Form to my attention via email, fax, or in person (Duques 550). The professor’s signature is not required, but you will need to enter all details for the course per the Schedule of Classes. Incomplete forms will be returned. Remember, registration in the DE section requires you to participate in the 5-day residency in DC (May 9-13). If you are local, register in section 10.
Blackboard Collaborate schedule for spring 2016 online/distance classes available on the blog. The Collaborate sessions are designed for the online students to provide real-time interaction with the professor.

Spring Short-Term Study Away Programs, Apply by 1 Nov
