Top 3 for 21 February 2017
1- Summer 2017 STAP Application Deadline on 26 Feb. Sunday, 26 February is the deadline to apply for one of the summer 2017 Short-Term Study Away Programs (STAP). The MSPM program may allow students to take STAP and apply it toward the general elective requirement. The course must first be approved by your adviser, Agnes Socrates (firstname.lastname@example.org).
2- Student Responsibilities: Holds. Reminder as the Summer 2017 registration approaches, students are responsible for reviewing their record in GWeb to ensure they do not have any holds on their record. Holds can prevent students from registering, adding or dropping classes, receiving transcripts, obtaining grades, or graduating. Holds are placed on student accounts for various reasons, such as tuition fee due to GW, the need to meet with academic adviser, placement on probation or suspension, or unmet program requirements. Learn more about holds on the Office of the Registrar site.
3- Two free registrations to the Winter 2017 PMP Prep Course. As posted on the blog last week, the MSPM program is pleased to offer two free registrations to the Winter 2017 PMP Prep course by PMI Washington DC chapter. The application has closed on Thursday, 16 February. We thank those who expressed interest in receiving free registration. Decision has been made today and those who applied should have received an email regarding status of their applications.
