Spring 2016 Schedule of Classes Available
The spring 2016 schedule of classes is now available. Review the schedule and confirm your courses for spring 2016 using your plan in DegreeMAP. Questions? Schedule an advisement session with Cambria Happ via www.meetme.so/gwmspm. Registration begins Monday, 9 Nov, via GWeb.
Registration in DNSC 6269 Project Management Application (capstone) is not available via GWeb. To register, complete and submit a Registration Transaction Form to my attention via email, fax, or in person (Duques 550). The professor’s signature is not required, but you will need to enter all details for the course per the Schedule of Classes. Incomplete forms will be returned. Remember, registration in the DE section requires you to participate in the 5-day residency in DC (May 9-13). If you are local, register in section 10.
Blackboard Collaborate schedule for spring 2016 online/distance classes available on the blog. The Collaborate sessions are designed for the online students to provide real-time interaction with the professor.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

PMP Study Group and Boot Camp Hosted by Northern Virginia Group

MSPM students, alumni, and their professional colleagues are invited to participate in a PMP study group organized by a local group planning to sit for the PMP exam in April 2013.  Details are below regarding the group’s activities in the Tysons Corner area of Virginia.

The group will meet for the next study group session on Thursday, February 21, from 6-9pm in the Tysons Corner area, exact location TBD.  The sessions will feature various PMP-certified mentors:

PMP Boot Camp
Project Weavers will offer a custom PMP Boot Camp for the group the week of March 18-22, 2013.  Matthew Weaver, PMP, President and CEO of Project Weavers, will facilitate the boot camp, which also provides the 35 hours of PDUs required for the PMP application.  A second boot camp may be offered April 1-5, 2013 for those looking to sit for the exam before July.  15 registrants required for boot camp to run.

Full-time Marketing Database Internship with ESI International in Arlington, VA

ESI International has a full-time marketing database internship position available at their Arlington, VA headquarters.  The position is planned for a one-year term.

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, Corporate and Open Enrollment Marketing, the Marketing Database Intern is a technical role that will assist with data quality, maintenance and integrity for ESI’s open enrollment contacts within our Eloqua database. In addition, this role will conduct research and assist with the procurement of contacts (leads) to supplement the existing database, toward reaching our open enrollment sales and marketing goals.
